I was in the shower last night when I hear my oldest daughter telling my wife that she broke dads camera:X  I jump out and looked it over and sure enough it was shot she knocked it off my desk looking for her chapstick :X

I ooked it over real good before realizing it was junk so in my anger I sent my daughter up to her room and whipped that camera as hard as i could right at the chimmney that runs up through our kitchen, anyway I have about 20 pieces of camera now so it will be a few days till i get a new one, I have a few im watching on ebay for a decent price and I want the exact same camera so thats my best option...

anyway I feel better about it today but just wanted to let yas know i may not have any pictures posted for a while
Dan

Oh and ARCHERY OPENS TOMMORROW so I will be in the woods alot :D

Hug your daughter, tell her that you love her and she's more precious than that camera will ever be.

It was an accident. We all have accidents and we all make mistakes. I have two daughters and they mean the world to me...and I know sure as we breathe , yours mean the world to you.

Peace.

At times I wish I still had kids around the house. Now I don't have anyone else to blame but me for breaking stuff or miss placing stuff! LOL All joking aside, I think parenting is the hardest thing ever put on someone. As for myself I was always questioning myself, was I to strict , was I strict enough, am I involved enough, am I around them to much, etc. I did all the things I could do like coaching baseball, softball, made it to all the other sports and activities they were in. Of course I came to the conclusion much to late in life, just do the best you can and teach them the most important things in life and the rest is up to them.

Passafist, I like the way you think!

Dan,

I was walking by your beautiful house this weekend and found a camera all broke into pieces. I thought someone might have ran over it. Knowing you were trying to slay that big 'ol Buck on your stand; I took it upon myself to  piece it back together for you.  Well,  I was not able to fix it, but I did save some pictures from it.

I cant blame my daughters for mis-placing things. I cant even get my wife to remember where i tell her i put something i asked her to remember so when i was looking for it i could find it.:? I remember thinking 20 years ago that 40 was ancient and now almost 44 i think 60 is and so on. The things that i have learned is eye sight goes slowly, hair is irreplaceable, and a daughters love is constant. Being strict is tough love and in my oppion should be handed down more. I have seen your pics and know that you spend time with your kids, and that is something more people should do. Don't believe me, watch the new's!

I have always been the tough disciplinarion? and my wife the good cop. My girls have grown up knowing love from us both, but if they want to do something ask mom. I guess what i'm saytrying to say is, be firm, strict and constant and they know you love them, well, at least mine did. Like Mr. Tanner i carried my girls into the outdoors and they can pitch a tent, fly fish with the best. Hell, both can change the oil in their cars. So spending time  with them the way he has they know that he love's them and that dad was mad, but none the less, he still loves them:).
