The coyotes get huge here in Maine.Heres a picture of my mother holding 2 coyote pelts from coyotes my father trapped.

The plains coyotes aren't to big but if you get up in the foot hills or mountains they get a little bigger.

At first when they showed up in Maine the state and biologists were all saying that coyotes don't kill healthy deer but just the old and weak.Now at least they are admiting that coyotes do kill healthy deer and alot of them.

I remember growing up in Indiana and it was rare to see a coyote. Of course they're everywhere now.
