There are several of these ranges across the state of Georgia. Check with your local DNR, there might be some located on your wma's and they are free, at least here...:D

Looks like a nice shooting range. I'm glad that she enjoys doing stuff with "old" dad.

Iv've always tried to get my girl's into outdoor stuff and mainley because it prepares them for the future. Some guy's are happy that their wive's dont hunt or camp, but i always felt that if the wive's shared in their husbands love for the outdoors or at least understood it, there might be less friction in a marriage.

My wife know's that when i go fishing or hunting, thats what i'm there to do. She knows that i'm not out screwing around, that i am there for the love of the outdoors. She knows knows this because her father hunted, although she has no intrest in hunting, we have been married now for 23 years, and yes we do argue, we have enough respect for one another to know no one is cheating. I have friends who have divorced because of false accusations, simply because their wive's didnt understand the concept of hunting and fishing and their insecure friend told them he was cheating. Being paranoid will give you heart ache.

I also think that women who have a very basic understanding of nature can give this gift to their children and so forth, and even incourage it.

This is only my beliefs, but the more we educate and demand safe hunting practices, safe handeling of fire arms, and safe and prudent fishing, we will ensure the future of the great American out doors for years to come. It will help ensure that our children and their's will have the same rights that we all grew up with........

       Semper Fidelis  and ooooh-rah----

Ha Ha, you had your chance!!!!! Glad to get to know you. For the rest of you guys N320AW is one of the range officers out there, and a great shot himself. I really like most of the fellow hunters and DNR officers and the range safety teams here. They ask that you follow their simple rules, and no problem. I always look to make friends there, and i am always thankful for their advice....

As for Katie shooting better than me, i dont think so, however that young lady can hold her own against alot of men!!!! She does shoot very well>>>> and i am very proud of her and my other daughter!!!!!!!!!

You're very welcome and we at GA DNR appreciate your support in the State's efforts to promote the shooting sports. It is hoped that the folks in the Northeast Georgia area will stop by and send a little lead downrange with us.

Yeah, i couldnt get time off to make it...  We just hired a rookie so now we can get two off per shift and life is much nicer!

Just to re-emphasize, i encourage all the guy's on this forum and who visit this web-site to check into  what your local DNR has to offer. There is a wealth of resources for ya, you just got to dig around and ask questions!!!
