Bruce, if you have XP your macine isn't all that old. I'm running Windows ME. My theory is if it aint broke don't fix it.

If you have speakers, you can pick up a decent sound card pretty cheap ($20.00-$25.00) and just plug it into a PCI slot. XP will find it and tell you if it already has the software to support it. The sound card will come with the software on a CD and if needed can be installed from the CD.

You can listen to the talk show over your speakers and type anything you may want to add or ask in the text box and the host can comment for you or ask your question. I'm on dial up and have listened in on a couple of shows and it wasn't too bad.

I don't know if it's my machine or not, but when I call in to the show on my land line the sound no longer comes out of my puter speakers, I only hear  the show through my land line phone.

Better yet, the wife builds computers so I'll ask her if she has an extra sound card laying around. If she does I'll get your address and send it too you.

Nutoy and All-

Last nights podcast I hoped was able to help one think about establishing a nuisance control business. Seems we all benefit when we share together; whether it is here with text or on a talkcast. In many cases the information is invaluable to the enthusiast and I look forward to future recordings. I handpicked Bob & Stan for the show and happy with their knowledge and demeanor.

I think I will also be able to bring this forum new members who share that same savvy for the sport you look forward to reading here.

Trapper Dan and I, are now in the middle of creating "Hawg Tawk" a new talkcast dedicated to the Boar Hunting & Trapping Community and done on a regular schedule weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or maybe just a few special talkcasts. The frequency is all about the enthusiasm each of you will share keeping it afloat.

Dale is it true you had six orders the next day in your email from the show? Trapper dan mentioned something like that. Hope you did and still do get orders from that show!

This Sunday Coon Dawgin & Huntin. Want to do a full show on snaring hogs anyone interested on being part of the show? Let Trapper Dan know!!

Always open for new ideas for a Talkcast. My email robb@wildlifepro.net

I did get an increase of 6 orders for hog attractants after the show. The Bear bait still outsells everything 10-1. Funny that It's mostly a hog website, but I sell alot of the bear bait. I have so many pictures that y'all have not seen of the bear kills submitted. Canada keeps me very busy with orders right now.  I have added them to the website, just waiting for some time to tune it up before I  publish.

Nutoy

I took the armadillo conversation we had and made a 4 minute instructional video with it. That is as long as you like it.

I got enough hog snaring audio but no pictures or facts to put it together  in a instructional video. I will post the audio here and maybe in time get the stuff to make it a good how to video.

Sounds like Nutoy is gonna be a star,,,,,:appl2 That is great new's, and to think we knew him when he was a mere mortal:biggrin.

I see this radio talk show as a way for everyone concerned to contribute, and to show the world that we do have fun, feed the family, and have compassion for the outdoors.

Thank's again Rob, and Nutoy, congratulations on a job well done.:bigwink

:banana I'm gonna be a star. Gotta go look at Ferrarri's so I hope I get back in time for tonights show. :rotfl LOL

In all seriousness, it's all about helping out the team. When people with simular interest unite and share thier knowledge, everyone involved benefits.

In todays hi-tech society, even the simplest of things can greatly contribute because everyone approaches a situation differently. Sometimes its easy to get caught up in over thinking a solution.

Robb, for some wierd reason my puter spazz's out when I go to wildlifepro. It takes forever to load and locks up my puter when I try to exit. I imagine being on dial up is the culprit for the slow loading but the lock up has me baffled.

Hope to see you all at tonights broadcast. I don't know squat about coons dogs other than it's a blast running behind them so I'll be a listener tonight.
