The jaws measure 4 3/4 OD by 3 7/8 OD. I cover the pan because you can still read it.
Have fun!

You have all had some very good answers. I think it's time for some hints. It has a V in the pan, but we all know that doesn't always mean Victor. It has 3 patent dates on the pan Nov15,04 May28,07 Feb16,09. And for the final hint the trap # is two digits, no fractions

| Animals like coon , skunk, possum. The jump trap had it's place in the trapping world because of it's compact design until the coil spring traps came about. The double jaw gave it more area of the foot to hold on to. Even today some people will weld stock onto the jaws of some traps for that same theory. I still have some jump traps that I use.

Good run. I liked it. I wish I could comment more on it, but I'm just getting started on these. I have been out of the office for a while trying to scout some new hot spots for boar. I wan't to take a few more before winter with the bow. I like trapping them, but I'm a little burnt out on it right now, want to hear that string sing a little.
