My first cameras and I still have 2 left , were the 35mm Stealth, They did take some good pictures, they ate batteries like crazy, and then the cost of developing the film. My latest cameras are the Moultrie digital, it does not have the view screen on it.  If it wasn't for using them on bear and where Johnny Sneak-um is around, I would have to spend some money on a camera that had the view screen and able to use my solar panel. I'm not to technology minded, so I require on that is very user friendly!!!

Thanks guys, The problem im having with mine and its a Moultrie digital, is that it will take pictures but when it goes into sleep mode it wont wake back up to take photos again with out me resetting it:X

I guess the sensor is shot , so I will send it back to Moultrie and have it fixed, I hate investing more money into this camera but its useless to me right now

My first camera was a Moultrie and I had problems with it and after sending it to them , they sent me a brand new one that worked great, till a bear used it for a chew toy.

I have  the cheap moultrie digitals, they work fine. I did buy one that would not work and exchanged it for another. I have had about 7 of them and not many problems. You must have gotten a bad one.

Don't waste money on the higher mega pixels though, unless you plan to blow them up into poster size pictures.

I finnaly called moultrie today to talk to customer service...

1. I waited 25 mins listening to a recording till I spoke with a real person.

2. She was rude and constantly lauging so hard that I had to repeat myself 5 or 6 times on every question she asked. Must of heard a funny joke before I called

3. even though my camera was baught brand new last year for xmas the model is older than a year so mine must have been a store shelf left over my warranty dont exist. UNLESS i can find a reciept YEH RIGHT...

4. my model has a heat sensor, she asked how close it was to the animals I said 10 feet she asked if i could get it closer to them (WHAT A JOKE) if they cant make a product that will take an animals picture from 10 feet what good is the product?

MOULTRIE CAN KISS MY RUMP... they will never get a dime from me again, I suggest you all save your money

for laughs I think i will smash it with a sledge hammer:D

I would not suggest a Stealth 35mm camera. I had problems with one of mine and I called the factory and the guy I talked to said, for the amount that I paid for them what did I expect.

well after my call with the ignorant lady At Moultrie i decided to try and get the camera closer than 10 feet :?  so I dumped some corn next to a tree and put the camera on that tree so at most i would be 3 feet from what ever came in.... anyway the camera worked well:D but i cant belive it has to be so dang close to the animal to activate it..

anyway here are some pictures

I have 9 of the cheap moultrie digital cameras from walmart and havent had a problem. The only thing I have noticed is that the sensors does detect heat and motion so when its hot outside its harder for a animal to trigger it other than that they work great.
