I really like the looks of that bob-cat. Very nice looking kitten. I have hunted for years and those darn cats still give me the goose bumps when they start that yowling early in the morning.

I mean i still know what is making the racket, but good grief it will raise the hairs on my arms!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have you ever been in the mountains when it was dark and a bull elk bugles very close to ya?  Or what about pitch black and the forrest is dead silent and a black bear growls? The worst thing I ever hear is when the damn alarm clock goes off and I have to go to work:vomit2

The coyotes here, are mixed with Red Wolf, which gives them the color. Hey Nutoy, where about did you catch the bobcat?

Rick, The private piece of land I'm trapping on right now is 6000 acres. I have access to 165,000 acres of public land that has very little trapping pressure plus plenty of private land. If you get a hankerin' to come trap Tx and don't mind dishing out the $350.00 for a non resident license give me a holler and I'll show you more land then we can both trap.

Brucet, If I'm setting for only cats my prefered trap is a #3 Bridger. I like the larger jaw spread for cats. My yote traps are mostly #2 Bridgers with a mix of 1.75 victors.

Chick, as of today the predator population on our lease is down 81 coyotes and 9 bobcats. The cat hot spot has been at the intersection where I turn to go to my creek stand. The pic with the coyote double is the spot. I had two cat doubles in the same spot as those yotes. You oughtta see the catch circles at those two traps. It looks like a UFO landed there.
