On Nat. geo. Exp the other day they had a special on this big boar. What was interesting was the experiments they did. They detemined that hogzilla was 9 feet long, not twelve, weighed about 800 not 1000 and was half hampshire and half wild.
Also the test where they put 4 piglets from 4 different litters in a pen and they started fighting right away, demonstrating the wild tendacy that is in all domestic pigs. According to them , domestic pigs will be totally wild in a couple of weeks and will start to take on traits of there wild ancestors soon after, with a complete turn around of genetics in about 3 to 4 litters.
Any body else see this?
