Just saw on the news that the Supreme Court ruled that the 2nd Ammendment does, in fact, guarantee the individual right to keep and bear arms. The NRA is already working to file suits on handgun bans all over the U.S. The Brady bunch, is working to enact rules on how guns can be sold and what kinds of guns can be owned, since they cannot work on banning guns any longer. What did alarm me, was the fact that the ruling only went 5-4. I could see 1 or 2 justices rulling against the 2nd ammendment, but not 4. How can you read the Bill of Rights, and get ANYTHING out of it, except what it says? Anyway, they can't take our guns.

It should have been unanimous and just shows how bad things are getting in this great country of ours.

When we have the Supreme court that can't 100% agree to follow our Constitution or Bill of Rights. We have a lot of problems. I don't like the idea of life appointment to that job. Goes right along with the need for term limits for all elected officials. But the sad part, we wouldn't need term limits if the public would get actively involved in politics. How many times do we all hear. I'm to busy , I don't even know who's running for any of the offices, my vote doesn't count anyway. We are ruining this country because we are to lazy to get involved. The perfect example is the immigration problem. Our politicians will not make a decision on this because they don't want to loose votes. Then why don't they make it a referendum vote on it and let us decide for them. I bet our forefathers are turning over in there graves. I'm done venting , it's the graveyard shift , I'm going to bed now.

| I agree it should have been 100%, and that worries me. Obama's bunch emailed me for donations. I expressed my outrage at Obama's stance on firearms and told them I would donate 100% of the content of my septic tank, to his campaign.
