| I use about anything I can get my hands on, old fryer grease, beaver carcasses, table scraps. Donuts are great if you can find them. I can't find any stores that will give /or sell the ones they are throwing away.

Had my best luck with all sweets.Doughnuts,cupcakes,etc.Cooking grease really works well also. The cooking grease sure helps getting a scent trail going so other bear find the bait.

| Best of luck brucet!!! The only way to get the donuts etc. around here is to hit a Tim Hortons at closing time when they are taking the trash bags to the dumpster. We have done well doing this. They will not give them to you but when they hit the dumpster then grab em.Possible for you guys to do something like this at a Dunkin Donuts?????

| I tried that too. They threatened to call the cops because it was considered theft. It was explained to me that it is because of possible law suit. If I were to eat one of them and get sick I could sue them. Most of the stores around here send all of there left overs to the local shelters. I can get old bread for a $1 a bag and I add some of Boarmasters super duper bear bait to it and that does the trick.

| That is also why they don't hand it out here but it helps to know someone working there and they realize that you will not be using it for human consumption.
