Guys...here in maine the only lottery is for moose. So put in for one of them if you want. But we can take you bear and deer huntin. Not too mention if you fill your tags..we can call yotes..or hunt squirrels, partridge or rabbits. Love to host a gathering on this end of the things for you. Let you see what maine is really like.

Brucet, That's a nice bear. Do you guys get any color phases or any with the white V on the chest? This is a pic of my wife with the bear I took last spring. I never had it weighed, what's you best guess? His color was a dark chocolate brown.

Nope. I don't have to think about it. We are going to Maine. I have never been there and have always wanted to go. Let's set it up!!!! I can visit my Father and sister in Maryland on the way. Never been to Maryland either! Never been on the east coast except when I was little Kid. My Father and sister go to Maine every year for vacation in the summer and they love it. I cannot even remember where they go. I'm going to call them to find out where they go. I think it would be a good time for everyone.

I've been thru a small part of Maine. We were on Hwy 2 to Bangor, then went out to Bar Harbor and then south thru Portsmouth. I always wanted to go farther north and see what it was like.

We don't get any color phase bear here in Maine.Once in a while will get one with the white V.Don't know how tall your wife is but would guess around 300 pounds.Very nice bear.
