yesterday before the snow storm hit I picked up Bruce and headed to Dicks Sporting goods to pick up this sexy beast ... its a Remington .223 SPS Varminter with a 4x12 x40 mm scope ,  and Harris Bypod this is my new calling weapon for predator hunting and im tickled pink :D

ITS JUST SOOOO SEXY :D

anyway had a good day and found some great deals on insulated camo and blaze orange so grabbed some of that stuff too for next yearand had some pretty nasty roads comming home but all in all it was better than sitting around the house all day waiting for the snow to stop ..

That is a nice looking rifle and it should do the job on coyotes.

You know Dan, Bruce could use that fine weapon to help dispatch some squirrels that he seems to have a problem with:D.  He might just need to borrow it...:D

That might be a little on the light side. I was thinking more like a 308 would do the job.

Dry-Run

right now im using the 4-12x40 that came with it as a package from remington I like the reticle , the clarity and the easy adjustment so if it holds a zero i will probably stick with it
