  While they are not a predator, i saw two pastel yellow armadillos the other day while turkey hunting. I thought at first i was seeing things and actually happy to know i was okay. The reason they were yellow is because they were covered with pollen. To see them rooting around in the woods, these two yellow dots was weird.

  Anyway i got within about 35 yards and let them have it. #5 3" 12 gauge and it was no contest. The female broke in half and the male had the shot load pass through him stem to stern.

Yeah, they are nasty critters. They carry diseases and crap, and i havent found where they contribute anything to  this world. I know there are probaly armadillo supporters out there and i hope i dont offend anyone, i just cant stand them. I think they are as bad as gophers and moles, and they make holes as big as a groundhog does, and i shoot them as well.......:blah
