 I had a coon cage to put over the feeder, but took it off. I am going to try one of the critter zappers from American Hunter.

When I had problems with coon during the off season I would live trap them and haul them to the local state park. It got so bad at that park they opened up coon hunting. It was great , we'd let the campers feed them all summer long then try and wipe them out in the fall.
