I'm starting my practice sessions in earnest now, getting ready for the start of gobbler season. The arrows are sharpened, the bow tuned up, and i'm dead on target at forty yards.

My plan this year is :

1 by bow

1 by muzzleloader

1 by shotgun

Been scouting all year and got some lines on primo turkeys, large flocks. Looking forward to it.

    How about anyone else?

I don't have a snowmobile to scout any areas. About the middle of April I will be able to get in there, that's if I get drawn for the hunt.

Yeah, but mention something about Desperate house wives or some crap like that and the conversation is on. My wife makes little remarks about the hunting and fishing shows i watch.

Now a neighbor i used to have had some turkeys that run around loose that belonged to him, and i used to call them when i would see them in the front yard. My wife and kids got a big kick watching that ole tom blow up and strutt......

Hey Firedawg are your easter lilies blooming yet? That's what I always called them. I think the real name is daffodils?
