Ohh that would justify me to carry some rock salt loads or beatem like that mule with the butt of my gun - joke - to much rum and coke . but I would be pi$$ed off

| Whats maddening to me is to have other hunters walk through the area i'm hunting in. If you pull up and see another vehicle parked near there you would think common sense would prevail and they would move on to another location, but no, they got to tromp through your spot.

I thought those idiots only hunted around here. Our local season opens on April 1st and when that date falls on a weekend it's absolutly crazy. I've had several birds shot almost out from under me.
Last year I had several people pull up beside my truck and start blasting away on box and slate calls. One morning I just happen to be walking out of the woods when a truck pulled up behind mine so I stopped just inside the woods and kneeled down beside a tree not 15 yds from my truck. Two younger guys get out and walk up to my truck and look in the bed. One guy ask the other if he thinks this guy(me) is on a bird. The other guy told him "I can guarantee you this guy knows there is a bird here". The other guy says that sure is a nice floor jack under his tool box and what do you think is in the tool box. As soon as he put his hand on the tool box latch I stood up and pointed my 835 ulti mag right at his nose and quietly said "if you want to keep your head on your shoulders you won't worry about whats in MY tool box. They about fell on the ground. I'm thinking now what am I going to do so I told both of them to pull up their T shirts and pants legs and turn around thinking they might have had a pistol on them. They didn't so I had them sit in the middle of the road about 20 yds behind their truck. I walked to their truck and looked for guns. All they had were two shotguns so I took out their shotguns, removed the shells and layed their guns on the hood of my truck. I stepped back a few yards and told one of them to come get their extra ammo out of the truck, open my tailgate and put the shells on the tailgate. He did what he was told. I then told them to take out their drivers license and put them beside the shells. I told them they could pick up their stuff at the Sheriffs office later that day. The sheriff called later that day and told me they wanted to file charges on me for holding them at gun point and he told them they should be thankful they were still alive and the best thing they could do was to leave the county and never come back.
It's ashamed there are people like that are poising as sportsman.

Well, Nutoy did what we all should and that's be afraid to act like you got a pair. At least Nutoy didnt shoot and i would like to think i wouldnt, but you never know. I'm being as honest as possible, so dont persacute me. I dont know what i would do.
There are those in this world that will pay the ultimate price for their stupidy and all those poser's did was get a second chance to contimplate the error of their ways. Maybe they were scared enough to go straight, or maybe they lived to get killed by someone that was not as nice aas Nutoy. Chances are they are in jail now or possible the grave.
I leave nothing in my truck that would be tempting for a crook. I carry whatever i take with me. Most thefts are a crime of oppurtunity and by not leaving stuff around keeps honest people honest. I think i just found a good use for a trail cam and that is set one up on your truck and one on the road, that way you get tags and the crooks together. Like they say, a picture is worth a thousand words.........
