I try to always have my field glasses, water bottle, ammo, snack food, flashlight, OFF!, gloves, rope, sheath knife and pocket knife. I normally have a few other things, but I try to never leave these. I found some insect repellent that has a frsh dirt smell that I have been useing instead of OFF!, but I really don't know how that smell is perceived by the hogs and deer.

I guess I bring alot of stuff out there with me. I have to ride my bike at least 2 miles one way to get to the area I hunt, usally go at least 6 miles in to get away from everybody else so I pack as much as I can in case I get stuck out there.

Noone likes to ride a bicycle that far so you dont see anybody once you get out there. The only bad thing is hunting hours are 1/2 hour before sunrise till 1:00pm so I have to leave the house at around 3:30-4:00 to get to my spot.
