| Got one called Boar-N-the USA--- Hammy title.. Okay footage, hunts in California, Florida and Texas. The Texas hunts were better than the others. All hunts were with a bow...

We need to start our own free video and book club some how, Wyo sent me a bunch of books and videos and I like all of them, it would be nice if we could all share with each other somehow? Any ideas? Probably have to have some rules and I would only share with people that have a lot of posts and have become dedicated members and friends. What are y'alls thoughts on this?

Well it sounds like a good idea we would have to start a library of what each individual has first.but i agree on the amount of post for sure.What would you need 100 posts or so to get in the club.

That is about right, I think all of us that post regularly have become good friends and I would not like to put an exact number on it, because I could easily post 100 comments tonight by adding great post to every post. I don't want to open a can of worms on this one, and don't want to get crazy and become the next blockbuster. I just think it would be nice to be able to share hunting books, magazines, DVD's, etc. and rate them with emoticons. I don't think we would have to go so far as catalogging either. Maybe we just need to start with something simple, like: I just read this book called __________. If you would like to read it P.M. me. Then after you get it and read it you can rate it and pass it on to someone else that wants it and let the owner know where it's going, etc.
Personally, I would Just put a big label on the book or DVD, etc that said send back to _________. That way it would get sent back to the owner. I really do not have a collection of videos or books and don't care if they ever got back to me or not, but would rather pass it on. I also have a few books that I'm saving for my son and would not even put them up.

This sounds like a great idea and i dont mind lending someone a video or two but would like them shipped back to me before going on to someone else this way the person i sent them to is soley responsable for returning them... I also wouldnt send them to someone i didnt trust or feel that i dont know well enough.....

I keep trying to make a video when I hunt, but when I bring my video camera, all i get are pictures of does and small bucks. I would have liked to have the shots I made on the hogs yesterday, on video. When I made the first shot, the other sow vacated the area, and left the pigs, who just looked around. I waited for the sow to maybe come back, and get her dose of lead poisoning, but the pigs started getting nervous before she could come back, so I took what was at hand. No blood trailing these.

I guess we can just do this on a PM basis with trust. Plus it seems that it would be very hard to keep up with. I would like to see more reviews on the videos though. That way we could accoplish it, or at least look for them.

| I have one dvd that a fellow fire fighter i work with did. He makes his own tree mounts for his cameras and does his filming, editing and narration. I personally think his efforts are great, mainley because he hunts bow only and can make the kill and get all of it on film. That is pure tallent. I think he limits out every year.....
