Yeah, I paid $350 for mine about 7 years ago. If you want a good blooded dog, that it is what it normally takes.

They are so easy to train and they really want to work. The only problem is that all of them have seem to have a problem with digging. When I was stationed in Lubbock TX, I brought a little yellow cur jip back with me after a trip home and had her for about 4 years. I was only about 21 years old back then and she was so easy to train. Every morning she would wait by the front door to bring in the news paper. Very, very loyal dogs and will die for you. I was at wal-mart with the girls about 6 months ago and an old man was trying to get rid of some puppies, my little girls seen them and wanted one real bad. I really wanted to say no because we already had 4 dogs, but these little pups were starving to death and full of worms. They were half yellow cur and half???? Well, I took one of the males home and he was a but hole; just like a cur for the first couple months. I was real busy and did not have time to train him at all. I took about 3-4 days and spent some time with him, now he is the best dog in the house. I'll take a picture of him, maybe y'all can help identify the rest of the genes?:)
