I agree with idunno, fore finger and a thumb to hold up that deer's head. The camo the guys wearing doesnt match either.

They said the same thing on the Pa website. You guys are not around below zero degrees hunting weather. That buck is frozen stiff.Been there done it.Seen alot of such pictures myself. That deer is real. When that deer is froze stiff you can reach out and touch it with your little finger. The guy is just standing back as far as he can to make the deer look bigger.:D

I just worked the races last night and I do believe that the hunter is the little jockey that was on seeyaboys:D

I'm just kidding; that deer has a wide thick rack; I would be proud to have it in my game room!!!!! I would also like to sell it and collect the money$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

I might be wrong but my guess would be fighting another buck.

You don't have to graphically enhance the pictures, to get them to look like that. First, you have to get the person, to get behind the animal, then you get real close with a wide angle lens. As far as holding the head up with finger and thumb, they position the head like the want it, then let it freeze like that. They regularly do this in South Texas, in the walk in freezers, then carry the buck back out to the brush, to take the picture.

The wounds on the neck, look like buckshot to me.
