This is my largest whitetale buck to date. Killed free range in east texas in 2000.
scored 161 7/8
8th in the TBGA 2000/2001 region 6

East Texas bucks of that proportion, are hard to come by. My son took a nice eight off one of my stands, that was just shy of qualifying for the Texas Big Eight awards (130B&C). I doubt there was a bigger 8 point taken in Sabine county that year. Where is region 6? Check the thread "My buck this year", in this forum, for pictures of bucks taken on the lease that Nutoy and I hunt on, at Yellow Pine.
