I just bought a High Country Max Force this summer going to give that a try.  Set up at 70#'s 29 inch draw, shooting carbons with 100 grain shockwaves. Got a awesome deal on it so going to give it a try. Wanted a Whisper Creek but couldn't pass this deal by.

Shooting a PSE TAZ....at 65 lb.s.....titanium mechanical/100 grains....strictly carbons at 29".  Just like Ivan got a great deal on an upgrade...had to retire the Bear whitetail and get me something sweet and light that shoots 300ft.per sec.+

Imagine the draw weight you would have to pull and hold to get 300ft/sec years ago.
I grew up poor when I was a kid. I used to make arrows out of switch cane. They didn't fly very good, but it taught me how to be stealthy. I was real proud of my first rabbit.

Don't think that we could pull an old bow back to shoot 300 feet. Back when I was young I couldn't get a bow so I use to make my own out of pvc and string couldn't shoot far but was alot of fun.

I have been shooting a PSE 3060Edge for the last 9-10 years , I know its an older model but its one that works well for me, shooting it at 73 pounds , 29 inch draw with 27 inch ACC 390s, 100 grain tip (Rocket broadheads) 3-D rover rest and truglow adjustable sight... for an older bow I still get 289fps out of it and it has taken more than its fair share of deer in Pennsylvania but then again deer are as thick as fleas on a stray dog down there:D

I've got an old Martin, with an over-draw system. I'm like both of you. Why should I buy a new ne when this works for me!

Just retired a Bear Whitetail....... now giving another hunter a chance to put it to use. ( Good Hunting Geno!!!)

Started hunting with a bow at 10 or so...shot rabbits with an old Bear Cub recurce at about 25 lbs. and upgraded to a Ben Pearson long bow pulling 45 lbs. or so and shooting cedar arrows and field points. Never tried deer hunting with a bow back then.......got the gun fever and never recovered until I was in my thirties.
