Not sure of the species of shark but that one is a male. Where did you catch him and what kind of bait?

I have caught a few over the years and they are pretty good eating, grilled that is.

Nice shark though, i bet he was fun to catch!

I caught him out from Port Aransas Tx. It's a sand shark. I used a herring on the bottom drifting behind a shrimp boat. I've never ate one before but I'm sure it will be good.

Cool. Try a little of some TONY Catcheres or luzianne creole seasoning. Sprinkle on on let set for a while. Then when you grill melt some butter with a little evoo (thanks Rachel Ray),  some Tabasco or your favorite pepper sauce, and drizzle some on while grilling. Its pretty good this way. Makes it spicy and tender. Just be carefull and remove the teeth so he doesnt bite back---lol--- just dont over cook, he'll be tough as leather......

you can leave out the Tabasco and use some fresh lemon or lime juice mixed with the butter and evoo.
