Thats a great pic reminds me of minnesota, beautiful land, hills in the background I would love to live in a place like that again.

Your right about the unions, its not for every workplace but it is needed to keep the crap heads from taking advantage of the employees.

That sure made for a long day.:shock:I can take those 12 hour shifts 7 days a week for up to 2 months and then I'm worn out from it.Could not imagine doing that all year.
Wow,  on average I work 60 hrs per week and work another 10-12 hrs overtime on top of that. This 2 week pay period I worked 140 hrs. That's about average for the last 10 years. This is at my full time job. Average sleep for me is about 4hrs per day. I'm used to it though, It's not uncommon that I crash a couple times a month though.

My weekly schedule is Mon-Fri  8:00a - 5:00p thats 40 hrs/week. add 60hrs O.T. to my schedule:kissass Ten years running!!

sleep deprivation is my friend, one day I will wake up and and wonder who the hell I am. Until then, I'm gonna  keep moving and working.  When I get the new lease I'll slow down a little and turn the work hours into fun hours. :blink

I hope for your sake that you will wake up one day and decide it's not worth it. I know it's hard to find the balance between work, bills, playtime and family. Just remember that story about the jar and what is most important in life. What will seem like 2-3 years and your little ones will be graduating high school, and then 2-3 more years will pass and your sitting in your chair and realizing that you haven't seen your grandkids for awhile. A few years ago I realized that I had talked about doing alot of different things and had not done any of them. So I started a list of things that I wanted to do. 99% of them are very achievable, white water rafting, seeing my wife shoot a bear, go to the Grand Old alot  of America , but there is alot more I want to see and I have made up my mind to make sure I do. I hope you get the chance to come up here this spring, I'll show you some beautiful scenery, we'll eat some good food, tell some stories around the camp fire and maybe get a bear.
