Those little fellows eat good too. We use to go to Havelock, Ontario, when I was a kid, and we caught a bunch of those. They are not around, here in Texas.

They are good eating.We deep fry them after filleting them.

Heck, you didn't buy that deal about them not having mosquitoes, did you? Plus they have black knats andflies that bite like the devil!

Around swamps,streams and low laying water all the biting bugs are worse.

| We don't have any deer flies in the mountains sometimes you see a few around creeks or ponds on the prairie.

We have them also.Got to wear a hat in the summer time when your in the woods.They will get all through your hair if you don't.Also got a even bigger biting fly called a horse fly.Some people also call them moose flies.They hurt when they bite.They sure get your attention quickly
