They are nocturnal. Spring is the best time to catch them in the daylight. How are you baiting them?

So far only used corn, strawberry jello, and an attractant called Black Gold.
have good sucess with boar scrapes where I put the attractant and have got plenty of deep continious rooting going on that were not there previously.
started feeding approximately 3 weeks ago and using attractant about a week ago

What method of baiting are you using? Are you using a feeder; just puting it on the ground, etc?

| gravity feeders, post hole digging approximately 2-3 feet deep, have some great eating going on just doing it while we are away (lol) lots of signs of rooting around the baited areas. Went out today with plenty of scent killer and use some extra masking with boar urine..but still noshows...plenty of coons helping out..left stand at approximately 8:30 am too look around..plenty of fresh scat...

Do you use rice bran at all? It sounds like your doing everything right as far as feeding. The only other suggestion I have is to promote competition feeding by making it hard to get too and only letting one eat at a time. I'm going to post an answer to a feeder question later today that might help out.

Hey Cobra, Daddyo1 here (CW4). I'm at Hood. I'm new on the board looking for "space" in the local to hunt hogs as well. Any leads would be appreciated.
What have you learned? What are you using? I've got an M-4 in a 308 cal (PTR 308) and an AR-15 with a 223 and 222 upper.
Did a year in Balad, and a year in Bagram Afghanistan as well.

Hi guys been surfing this site quite a while now. Love it. No hogs here in northern Mn. go to Texas several times a year. Who whould have thought a hog was SOOOOO smart. Recieved some great advise from you folks. Nutoy I just got your package. Great artwork. (you should have drawn a hog in snare) can`t wait for 21st. when I`ll be back in Texas to try. Thanks !
