I'm Jed, and I live in Texas. Life long resident, rancher and Firefighter/Paramedic. Father of three, married to the same gal for 18 years.
Been fighting feral hogs for years here on the ranch, and decided I needed HELP. So I started using night vision and thermal equipment to stack the odds in my favor. Turned out to be so much fun I decided to share this experience with others. I now own and operate Tactical Hog Control.
Look forward to sharing hunting experiences and pictures with ya'll, and just some good ol fashion fellowship.

Looks like you got it going on, with a shot to drop them in their tracks!
Welcome!

Nutoy, I have my wife convinced they are TOOLS, not toys . Please refer to them as TOOLS in the future, I don't want her to find out that I have lot's of toy's.LOL
Here is a quick run down of the equipment (TOOLS) we use.
First, all hunters were a pair of ANVS 9 helment mounted goggles, these are dual tubed Gen III avaitor goggles.
We hunt out of a Polairs Ranger Crew, or a Ranger Special Ops (RSOV) Land Rover, also for short trips we have a Bad Boy Buggy.
We use thermal FLIR (Forward Looking Infared) to help find the hogs. It will pick up body heat signatures, in the rain, fog and the darkest nights.
All rifles are either Ar-15's or AR-10's, some are suppressed, and all of them either have Gen III 6x Night Vision scopes or thermal weapons scopes (TWS).
The AR-15's are .223 with 6 position stocks for the kiddo's or smaller stature women. The AR-10's are chambered in .308 . I also have a AR-15 chambered in a .243wssm, that rifle also has a 6X Raptor Gen III Night Vision scope.
We have over 50,000 acres of river bottom, creek bottom, all with adjacent pasture and or farm land.
If I did'nt answer any of your questions, shoot me a pm, or send me an e-mail. jed@tacticalhogcontrol.com
Thanks,
Jed
Thanks,
Jed
