Hello all, my trapping partner and I lucked into some Walker treeing hounds (3 males and 1 female). they are about 10 wks old and I was wanting some pointers on how to train them to hunt hogs, i figured if they can hunt wolves, bears, and cougars, then why cant they hunt hogs? there is a breeder in our town that bought a 7500 male dog and is real picky about his bloodline, and they are out of the male dog, he was gonna kill the pups and we took them, a breeder out of missouri took 4 and we took 4, shortly after the breeder called back and wanted all eight, but we had already got them, so they should be some good dogs, anyone have any pointers, on how to train them to bay hogs?
