The key to keeping hogs from going nocturnal is managing the hunting pressure that you put on them.
My operation consists of over 21,000 acres of managed private ranch land. We feed year round and pride ourselves on having one of the best management plans for our wildlife.
If you rotate hunting in different pastures, feed year round, provide food, water, cover, and keep human traffic to a minimum- you will see hogs during the daylight!
Here is a video of our feeding program at work. This video was taken around 4:30pm. - 2 hours before the feeder goes off, these hogs have gotten used to being fed on the road with a truck feeder. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UAw2QsHA1tw
