What the sugar in the mixture does, is helped the corn ferment quicker. Beer or yeast really makes it ferment fast! It will go beyond sour though, so be careful. It will start to stink so bad, you darn sure don't want any on you. Rotten potatos will also work pretty good. If no success, change everything up. Remains from cleaned fish, or rabbit guts work as well, but due to how bad they get after a few days, I normally don't say anything about them. If you do catch your hog with them, they normally have that stinking garbage all over them, and it ends up on you and you truck, as well.

hello my name is eric and i am am new here,this was the first one i came across. i just wanted to tell you i had the same thing happen to me, and i know how you feel,but all i had to do was to turn my trap around and the next morning he was in it,why i dont know. just something diff to him.or move it over 5 feet ,i have had that work also.goodluck
